Don Hobart, an Associate Vice Chancellor for Research at UNC Chapel Hill, manages external and government affairs for UNC Research, overseeing the Office of Federal Affairs and the Office of Research Communications. He assists Carolina in developing external partnerships with businesses and economic development organizations and leads efforts to communicate the value and importance of UNC research to the public and to the state’s leadership.
